SOBA has launched a series of learning days to help entrepreneurs and small businesses around Sierra Leone.

The first learning day event took place on Saturday 13th of May at the J&M Hotel in Bo, Freetown and focused on the importance of branding and marketing.  Food processors operating for a year or more in Bo and who have paying customers, were invited to participate in the free work shop. The objective was to help food processing businesses improve their messaging and better understand their customers to inform their business offerings.

  • “I have been waiting for a training like this for a very long time.” Ms. Mariama Koroma (Agro Business Dealer)
  • “Meeting these women and getting feedback about my products has opened my eyes on my next steps.” Mr. Solomon Tucker (Soap Processor)

The next learning day event will also take place in Bo and will focus on Financial Management Training for food processing businesses.

If you’re a food processor or processor of any agriculturally-derived product interested in participating in our next Learning Day event, text or Whatsapp: +232 78 977 335
